Easy as Cobbler
I’ve always hated the saying, “Easy as Pie,” because pie is not easy to make, in my opinion. It should be “easy as cobbler,” since cobbler takes just a few ingredients and a few minutes to be delectable. Pie takes time and perfection to turn out a dessert with CRUST. As a hater of crust, I’d rather not see it touch my dessert. And I’m lazy. Cobbler it is! All of the juices stayed in the breast meat and the entire bird was delicious! I’m pretty sure we were eating vegetarian at the time, but I had to try the flavor of what I was serving! It also received rave reviews. Give it a try! To view my entire Thanksgiving Menu, see this post. Lemon-Bay Brined Turkey This recipe is for a 12-15 lb turkey. 2 gallons of water 1 cup of dark...

I’ve cooked a large Thanksgiving meal before, preparing half of it ahead of time, traveling six hours, and finishing in my husband’s grandmother’s kitchen. I had three appetizers, all the Thanksgiving necessities, and two desserts for eight adults. I’m hoping that I can handle cooking...
