While scrolling through my Facebook feed one evening, I came across a photo of a marvelously decadent-looking dessert. Following the link, I was taken to the DAMY Health website, chock-full of delicious recipes for sweets, treats, and meals, too! I was intrigued, so I read on. I realized that the DAMY Health Program was right up my alley! Amy Layne, the creator, prescribes to the same ideas of weight-loss that I do: eat well & exercise.
I don’t speak much about weight-loss on this blog because I don’t think “thinner” is necessarily a goal one should set out to achieve. I prefer that people think about being “healthier,” and with that, generally, comes weight loss. And it is for this reason that I love the DAMY program.
The DAMY Health site markets the program like a typical weight-loss program: before/after photos, phrases like “bikini body,” and the focus is on “losing weight.” Upon closer inspection, though, the DAMY Method is just about eating well and following a fitness plan. You can work this program into your life from the comfort of your home.
I’ll admit I was hesitant to tell anyone of this program, thinking, “But…but…this is what *I* talk about! I don’t want to send people to a site that’s doing it BETTER!” Then I realized I’m selfish and egotistical and hogging all the good knowledge for myself is just bad energy (and, *cough* they have an affiliate program). I’m more than happy to accept the fact that I am not a nutritionist and allow Amy Layne, a holistic nutritionist and fitness expert, to guide you to a healthier lifestyle.
