November’s Ecocentric Mom Box Contents:
(in order of photos)
Vance Family Soy Candle in Holiday Scent ($5 travel candle)– This is the third Vance Family candle I’ve used and they are just wonderful. The scents are full and inviting without being overwhelming. Best part: no synthetic fragrances and no GMO soy.
Beauty Products
The Seaweed Bath Co. Hand Butter ($4.89/.55 oz) I sat this on the bedside table in our guest room. My mom really appreciated the emollient hand butter during her visit!
3 Holistic Girls Orange Pop Lip Gloss–Can you say perfect stocking stuffer?
Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques Sweet Chai Lip Scrub & Lip Colour–I’m a big fan of Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques after discovering their lip color via an Ecocentric Mom box many months ago. Fantastically creamy and lots of tint.
Health Products
Tiny Voices Respiratory & Immune Support by Wellements Baby ($13.99) If you’re not into making your own elderberry syrup, I love that this pre-made kind is available easily online, and at Walgreens and Walmart.
Oscillococcinum ($6.99)–This homeopathic cold and flu remedy has worked well for me on more than one occasion.
Maxim Hygiene Products (one applicator tampon, one non-applicator tampon, one pad) I get headaches and cramps when I use non-organic tampons, so I’m always glad to find new brands in the organic feminine care arena!
Food Products
Lush Nuts–Cinnamon Spice ($1.50 sample bag)–these didn’t last long. Delicious and healthy!
Organic India Certified Organic Tulsi Tea (samples) I love this brand. My favorite is the Rose Tulsi Tea. It’s wonderful for calming the mind and soul.
Eli’s Organic Earth Bars ($2.29) An environmentally and socially responsible company that makes CANDY BARS?! Yes, please! And: 5% of every sale goes to a non-profit.
Exclusive Offers
The Organic Wine Company–Special Holiday Pack $49.99 with promo code–Do I even need to explain why this is great?

Looking for a Great Gift?
I had the pleasure of reviewing the Tagua Heart Bracelet along with this month’s box. This gorgeous bracelet makes a wonderful gift for a mama or girl in your life. Made of Tagua tree nuts, which has the same appearance, density, and feel of animal ivory, this bracelet causes no harm to the environment and is fairly traded. It is very light, and I think it would work well for a younger girl who is interested in jewelry, in addition to women who are interested in supporting fair trade practices.
The bracelet comes in a beautiful gift box, with an information card for your recipient. It retails for $19 with FREE SHIPPING! You can purchase one using this link to the Ecocentric Mom site.

Big Changes at Ecocentric Mom!
Ecocentric Mom is changing its subscription model to become an exclusive service! Boxes will be shipping every-other-month (6 times per year), instead of every month. Boxes will ship in January, March, May, July, September, etc. According to Ecocentric Mom, “We feel the additional time between boxes will give you the opportunity to discover & enjoy the products more and to take full advantage of the “exclusive offers” for Ecocentric Mom members. Also, moving to an every-other-month model makes our boxes more affordable for all moms. We will continue to work hard to curate the very best of the best in each and every box.”
I am excited by this change; the Ecocentric Mom service is really the best subscription service out there, and making it exclusive can only mean it will continue to be awesome. This would make the perfect gift for that chick in your life who appreciates a really special opportunity.
