Quick Tip:
To aid in digestion, eat your food in the following order:
-raw fruits/vegetables (like salad)
-vegetable proteins and grains (like quinoa)
-animal proteins (like cheese, meat)
Raw fruits and vegetables contain enzymes that start the digestive process, so start with those.
Eat grains and veggie proteins next since they are easily digested.
Animal protein is the hardest for the body to digest, so give it room to do so by eating it last. The other, more quickly digested foods won’t have to try and move past the the animal protein, which is what makes you have stomach a ache.
What if they’re all mixed together? … Follow your meal with some ginger tea and go for a walk to get that metabolism working!

This is a great tip. With all the stomach issues I have, I never considered in what order I ate my food. I’ll definitely try this!

Wow, I never thought about eating this way. I usually just eat everything together.
