These snacks are so easy to make, and they use just four ingredients! I find that the recipe goes much better with a sturdy food processor like this one. Feel free to substitute the almonds with walnuts or another of your favorite nuts. This makes a simple, healthy snack or a quick, dainty dessert. Dairy-free, gluten-free, and vegan, too!
Chocolate Almond Fudge Snack Bites ~dairy-free~gluten-free~vegan~
Four ingredients make this a fast and easy healthy snack!
- 16 oz dates, pitted
- 1 1/2 c. raw almonds
- 1 T vanilla
- 1/4 c. cocoa powder (or more to taste)
- Place all ingredients in a food processor and process until mixture begins to hold together. (It may appear crumb-like, but trying pressing between your fingers. If it is sticky and clay-like, you're ready to roll!)
- Roll mixture into 1" balls or press into a square pan. Refrigerate until stiff. Cut into squares.
You can substitute walnuts for the almonds.
